How support works

MHPSS means we do not treat every difficult moment the same way.

You might need somebody to listen. You might need structured psychosocial support. You might need a registered psychologist or another specialist. Our job is to start with you, understand what would actually help, and stay honest about the level of support we can provide.

Listen → support → refer when needed

01 · Supportive listening

Start with what is happening now.

Anonymous chat and first-contact support are there for moments when you need a human being, some space and a way to slow the situation down. You do not need a diagnosis or a complete history to begin.

02 · Practitioner-led MHPSS

Support with structure.

A certified mental health practitioner may support grounding and stabilisation, psychoeducation, coping skills, wellbeing planning, emotional processing, problem-solving and referral navigation. This is guided support, not a promise that every session is psychotherapy.

03 · Psychologist support

Bring in more specialised care when it is needed.

Rexius Lited MHPSS works with two registered psychologists. Where someone needs psychological assessment, therapy or a more specialised pathway, we involve or refer to qualified support as appropriate, subject to professional scope, availability and local requirements.

What can happen in an MHPSS session

The conversation follows the person — not a script.

Listen & understand

Make room for what is happening without forcing disclosure.

Ground & stabilise

Use practical tools when emotions or circumstances feel overwhelming.

Plan the next step

Identify coping options, protective supports and practical actions.

Refer appropriately

Move toward psychologists, health services, safeguarding or other specialist care when needed.

Our team model

Human support, with professional backup.

The service is led by a certified mental health practitioner and supported by two registered psychologists.

That does not mean every person is automatically placed into clinical care. It means we have clearer pathways when a conversation moves beyond basic support.

We tell you what type of support you are receiving and do not present supportive listening as diagnosis, psychiatry or emergency care.

Anonymous chat

Use chat when you want a low-pressure first step. It uses the existing 3CX service and is subject to human availability. If the embedded chat cannot load, WhatsApp and email are offered as fallbacks; those channels are not anonymous.

Anonymous does not mean no technical metadata exists. The privacy notice explains what the website and service providers may process.

Booked 45-minute sessions

Choose an available date and time and provide an email address. The existing booking service handles the request and, when accepted, uses Google Calendar/Meet for invitation and online-session details.

A phone number is optional backup contact. Session type and escalation depend on what support is appropriate and who is available.

Clear boundaries

What this service does — and where it stops.

We can

  • • offer confidential supportive listening
  • • provide practitioner-led psychosocial support
  • • work on grounding, coping and wellbeing planning
  • • involve or refer to registered psychologists where appropriate

We are not

  • • an emergency dispatch service
  • • a psychiatric or medication service
  • • a guarantee of psychotherapy in every session
  • • a substitute for local emergency or specialist care
When more support is needed

Good support sometimes means helping you leave our service for the right one.

If there is immediate danger, a medical or psychiatric emergency, a need for medication, safeguarding concerns, severe or persistent symptoms, substance dependence or another need outside our scope, we will encourage an appropriate local or specialist pathway. Because people reach us from different places, the right referral may depend on where you are.
